The eligibility criteria of the BSF Tradesmen post depend upon the 3 main factors. First one is education qualification, the second one is age limit and the third one is physical standards. The candidates must have to meet all 3 eligibility criteria to apply for the exam.
- Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have cleared matriculation (10th class) or any other equivalent course from a recognized board or university.
- The Candidate should have a minimum 2-year experience in respective trade he or she wants to apply OR One year certificate from any vocational institute in respective trade with 1-year experience in it OR 2 Year diploma in respective trade from the industrial training institute.
- Age Limit: The Candidates of age between 18 years old to 23 years old (as of 1st August 2021) can apply for the pots but age relaxation will also be given to SC/ST candidates. The age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is 5 years. The age relaxation for OBC candidates will be 3 years.

BSF Constable Tradesman Application Form 2022
The weight for both male and female candidates of all categories will be applicable as proportionate to height as per medical standards.
Selection Process: The Selection will be done in 4 Stages as earlier mentioned. First stage will be written examination in which there will be 100 objective type questions. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. The time give to complete the written exam will be 2 hours. After that there will be physical efficiency test in which male candidates have to run 5 kilometers in 24 minutes and female candidates have to run 1.6 kilometers in 8 and half minutes.
